One of my New Years resolutions is to take more pictures. It something I have not been the best with but that is why it is a resolution. I have to favorite types of photography black and white and candid. Candid photos are awesome becasue they capture the moment; the feelings the mistake, the beauty that was that moment. Although I like candid I LOVE black and white photography. One a black and white photo lasts longer than a colored photo. Two there is some elegant in its simplicity. This photo was taken on my way to the metro in DC. The contrasting colors in the sky bring to life one of my favorite places in the world :)
